I have a strong interest in art therapy and utilizing my skills to help support you. I incorporate a person-centered approach into my work with you. I combine cognitive behavioral therapy with art therapy (CBT-AT). I focus on the whole person and the root cause, but also l'll listen to your needs and use whatever approach will best work for you.
Art therapy is not just for children and can be used with any age. You don't need to be an artist in order to experience the benefits of art therapy. It helps people to process their feelings nonverbally through the art making process rather than traditional talk therapy. Sometimes words can be hard to describe what we are feeling, so let's make art!
