Hi! I am a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern at the Christian Counseling of South Tampa office. I am specializing in women, ages 12+, and couples counseling, as I have completed Gottman L-1 training and I'm certified in SYMBIS premarital counseling. My primary theoretical approach is the evidenced-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which focuses on identifying the negative belief that informs one’s thoughts and behaviors. I also integrates other techniques and theories such as a strengths-based approach.
I firmly believe in building trust and connection with clients, and understand that the counselor-client relationship is foundational to the counseling process! I would love to offer counseling from a Christian worldview, if requested by you, the client.
