Above all, you are welcome here. If you are struggling with early recovery, substance abuse/addiction, relationships, unresolved trauma, anxiety, depression, or all of the above, you've come to the right place. I don't believe in "fixing" you, because I do not see you as inherently wrong or broken. I see wounds that need care and mending, hearts that deserve hope and joy, and people that long for meaningful connection and love. Together, we can explore the roots of your problems so you may be free of their shackles.
I work toward creating a safe space for you to grow in the ways you want in your recovery from addiction. I place the therapeutic relationship above any modality or technique. However, I do utilize certain tools to help you succeed in your goals. My approach is connective, integrative, and gentle so that we may address a wide range of issues.
The saying to die a thousand deaths along the way may feel too close for comfort. Sometimes we can get into ruts that seem impossible to break out of. Mindful Men: A Recovery Group
Individual therapy is a wonderful tool for navigating life in recovery. However, we don't live in a vacuum. Group therapy is particularly useful for exploring and changing unhelpful relational patterns in real time and creating meaningful connection that positively impacts life outside of group. This group is designed for men in recovery to come together in a mindful way. This is a closed group for men who are dedicated to staying clean/sober who want a safe space to grow through connection. Although this group is for men in recovery, all topics are welcome and encouraged.
