So, are we going to talk about feelings? Sure. And, I believe in a no bullshit approach to therapy. I will hold you accountable to create the change you want to see in your life. That change could be coping skills for anxiety, evidence-based treatment for intimacy challenges, or trauma work to alleviate depression symptoms. I bring body scans, breathing exercises, and humor to every session.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for painful memories (betrayals, abuse) and PTSD. I believe in health at every size and am a weight inclusive practitioner. We should work together if you are struggling with anxiety, depression, self esteem, sex/intimacy, or food/body image issues and you are interested in holistic care.
I am always available for a free phone consultation to see if we are a good fit. Clients work with me on average for 7 months with 1x/week sessions. Clients report change within 4-6 sessions.
