Life can be hard for all of us - pain, disappointment, and loss are inevitable. Luckily, we humans are wired for growth, resilience, and survival. As a counselor, I offer a supportive and accepting environment in which to explore yourself, to feel connected and understood. Counseling is a safe place to unburden yourself of the things you've been carrying around, to learn more about yourself, imagine a better life, and try out new ways of being and doing.
My approach is culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and collaborative. I am honored to work with all kinds of people, including individuals who identify as BIPOC, LGBTQ+, polyamorous, sex workers, and others who have experienced marginalization and judgment from society and healthcare providers. You are safe and welcome here.
My aim is to promote wellness: a positive, healthy balance encompassing all areas of life. I believe that people naturally strive towards growth, and my role is to support you in this. Please visit my website to learn more about me and my approach to counseling, and to schedule a free consultation - I'd love to hear from you!
