Through my experience, I have learned that taking an empathic, trauma informed, family systems approach is the most successful course of treatment when talking trauma. In trauma work, I find it helpful to incorporate therapeutic art and play techniques with traditional talk therapy. I also believe in the therapeutic aspect of Equine work as well.
