I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Registered Play Therapist and EMDR Certified. I work with parents who see their children or teens struggle with anxiety, depression, or have experienced trauma. My practice is focused on working with the entire family system. Many times parents seek services for their child. When they come to my office, we work on helping the parent be a partner in the healing process. My approach is different than other child therapist because I involve the parents in every step of the process and encourage them to be the parents that they want to be. It is hard to see your child suffer. I'm here to help
I am a Latina, trauma therapist who specializes in working children, teens and adults who have experienced trauma and are ready to start their healing process. I work with adults who've experienced childhood attachment wounds. I work through a trauma informed lens. By providing a safe environment to help settle our nervous system, we can begin this process
There is no manual to tell us how to parent. We fail many times as a parents and as an individual. I've met with caregivers who are desperate to help their children or they themselves are also struggling with life stressors. It is ok to seek support. I am here to provide that support with empathic listening and unconditional regard.
