Change can be very hard and painful. It’s not unusual to experience elevated levels of anxiety, grief, disappointment, and anger, amongst others. You might feel caught off guard, or maybe you expected things to play out differently. It makes sense that you would have some strong emotions. I can help you figure out how to deal with them.
I primarily use a research-backed therapy called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I also borrow interventions from other therapies, as appropriate for clients. We will pay attention to your thought patterns and beliefs, as well as your behaviors. I’ll help you learn how to shift what no longer helps you navigate these life changes and integrate what does.
