Our Adult DBT Groups are designed to enhance your day-to-day capabilities and help you learn new behaviors to make life worth living and sharing. We offer two Adult DBT groups, which meet weekly and are held both in-person and virtually. Email dthomassy@tbcsgroup.com to inquire about these groups/participation. In the groups, individuals are taught four sets of skills on mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance. Homework is assigned, offering you a chance to use your newly acquired skills in real-life situations. Groups run for 12 weeks, and each session is two hours.

This 10 week adolescent expressive arts and DBT skills group offers a holistic and supportive approach to healing and personal growth. Integrating expressive arts, music, somatic movements, and DBT can offer a comprehensive toolkit for individuals to explore and navigate their emotions and experiences. The emphasis on community building and shared creativity can foster a sense of belonging and empowerment. Incorporating two sessions for caregivers offers a thoughtful addition, recognizing the importance of familial support in the healing journey. Providing coping skills, education, and a space for parents to connect with each other will help create a supportive family network outside of the group sessions.
