My breadth of training and experience allow me to be highly flexible as a therapist. I am well trained in the application of behavioral, cognitive-behavioral, family systems, psychodynamic, interpersonal, and humanistic therapies. In many cases, several of these approaches are applied at various stages of the treatment process.
I have been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 1988. I graduated with Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from an esteemed and specialized counseling program (Community Based Block Program) at SDSU and UCSD in 1982 and 1987. I specialize in cultural diversity and am fully bilingual in Spanish.
