I believe there is always hope. We all struggle with challenges in our lives that can become overwhelming. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 13 years of experience being a counselor. I have been honored and blessed to help many people work through their problems and find their own solutions to better their lives. Through my experience I have learned that most people already have the answers inside of them and they just need the right support to help them find their path. I have received training in complex trauma and come from a trauma focused perspective.
Whether you struggle with depression, anxiety, grief, PTSD, addiction, betrayal, low self-esteem, food issues, co-dependency, or other issues, we can explore how trauma may have played a role in these conditions. I use many therapeutic modalities including Eye Movement Reprocessing Desensitization (EMDR).
I am also experienced with the 12 Step Model and Smart Recovery Model for those who are in recovery. People do not have to be in therapy for a lifetime. I promote action-oriented therapy that helps you identify maladaptive patterns and find better ways to address concerns.
