You are here because you've realized that life as it is isn't working for you. I help with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, cultural challenges and more. I prioritize creating a safe space where people feel understood, valued, and supported in exploring and being their authentic selves, and I serve as a non-judgmental fellow human who can walk beside you (even when feelings are icky). My therapy style is warm and collaborative, with a sprinkle of humor. It's easy to feel overwhelmed because you don't know where to start. I can shed light on strengths that may be hard for you to see and help you get moving towards change.
I am trained in trauma processing (EMDR) and also integrate practices from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), parts work, and polyvagal theory. I include yoga & movement, art, & other expressive/creative interventions when appropriate as well. I enjoy working with anxiety, trauma, cultural issues, grief, teens, trans-racial adoptees, identity & more.
I work alongside an experienced team of clinicians at Experience Therapy Group in East Nashville. We are an inter-disciplinary team of LPCs, LMFTs, LCSWs, and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners with years of professional experience and an emphasis on experiential therapy.
