Therapy is a space to develop strengths and resources, as well as examine problems and pain. Clients work on both their strengths and struggles in my practice. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with twelve years of experience working in a variety of settings within the mental health field to include residential/educational programs for at-risk adolescents and in private practice working with individuals and families facing so many of life's challenges. I believe in working together to address the distress you're experiencing (depression, anxiety, trauma, or inter-personal issues) and to build resilience and restore hope.
I have experience working with individual adults, children/adolescents, and families. I offer a safe, accepting, and nonjudgmental environment in which clients have an opportunity to achieve their personal counseling goals and gain an understanding and mastery of the destructive patterns and negative belief systems in their current circumstances.
In therapy, we will focus on your goals and areas of need as well as length of treatment. This will be a collaborative decision based on those goals and needs. Through our work together, I hope to help replace suffering and distress with relief and a new outlook on life.
