The most fulfilling aspect of being a counselor is when my clients feel heard and validated, without fear of judgment. Using cognitive-behavioral, emotions-focused, and family systems therapies, I aim to meet you where you are for support. I utilize a family-systems and cognitive-behavioral lens to assist my clients in understanding the "why" of who they are. We will then work collaboratively to change what my clients wish to change in their lives, and accept what is necessary.
I received my Education Specialist degree in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling. I am certified in Level One Gottman Method Couples Counseling, and have received my National Certified Counselor designation from the NBCC. I have experience working with college students, adolescents, and adults, and specialize in treatment of ADHD and anxiety.
My goal as a counselor is first and foremost to help my clients get to where they want to be and feel equipped to handle all that life throws at us. I believe change comes from feeling understood, and understanding the roadmap of yourself. We can all benefit from having someone to talk to, let’s see if I’m the right fit for you!
