Cameron works with women, ages 18 and up, disarming patriarchal oppression, and reclaiming embodiment, empowerment and voice. She has also worked with hospice patients and their families. Cameron has experience working with individuals experiencing symptoms of grief, depression, anxiety and adjustment disorders, life transition (including divorce and loss) behavioral concerns and trauma. After 22 years of practice, Cameron uses an integrative approach of mind, body, and spirit; opening the heart of compassion.
In counseling, her emphasis is on positive psychology, and her focus is to facilitate an increase in client self awareness to create self change. Cameron uses art, music and expressive writing in her work and completed Dr. Gabor Mate's Compassionate Inquiry Training utilized to treat trauma.
Learning to adapt to life's changes is a key. I believe we are always creating our lives, but we need to create them consciously. I appreciate compassion, truth and wisdom.
