Hello, I'm Caitlin. I am passionate about teaching my patients to access their internal resources and unlock their natural ability to self regulate and heal. I believe that you are the expert on you. I help you learn about how your present and past experiences play a role in how you've adapted to the world. We then work together to identify effective ways to cope and engage successfully in your life and relationships. I love to see my patients find their resiliency and capacity to do the things they once thought impossible.
I am a trained EMDR therapist and a certified Accelerated Resolution Therapy practitioner, both are evidence based methods proven to effectively heal the root causes of problematic symptoms. I always take an eclectic approach, combining elements of CBT, parts work, dissociation theory, coherence/memory reconsolidation theory, somatic interventions, and more.
I always tell my patients that they have taken the hardest step before we meet. Making the choice to commit to their therapeutic journey is not an easy one nor an easy road. I provide a welcoming and validating space where we work as a team to find compassion for who you are, who you have been, and develop confidence in who you want to be moving forward.
