Hello! As a licensed professional counselor, we’ll work together to find an inner sense of balance in your life. Sometimes, that looks like practicing mindfulness or utilizing somatic tools to manage challenging internal states–anxiety, depression, grief or sadness. Other times, that may look like exploring the intricacies of a difficult situation or relationship. Ultimately, the goal is to come back to a sense of joy.
College students, new adults, women, parents, and professionals are all good fits for my style. Depression, anxiety, fertility issues, parenting, relationships–these are a few of my specialty areas. I draw from Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, art therapy, my experience as a certified yoga instructor, and my ongoing training in working with trauma.
I love exploring the mind-body connection in the therapy process, as well as my own life. I am an avid indoor cyclist and yoga instructor. I enjoy painting, photography, and traveling across the country in my retro Winnebago. I look forward to working with you!
