I work with individuals and couples to develop full functioning ("abundant life") by alleviating personal obstacles, increasing psychological flexibility, and decreasing pain. My special interests include couples therapy, palliative care, and serious illness including cancer--recognizing patterns, and helping you to live as fully as possible.
In addition to psychology training, I am an ordained minister in the United Methodist Church; this experience allows me to respect and address spiritual issues in therapy. The Willow Wellness Center provides psychological care for adults of all ages, especially 50 and older, including mindfulness meditation classes.

Mindfulness Meditation
Every quarter, we teach a 7- or 8-week mindfulness meditation group focused on stress reduction. This course combines practical hands-on exercises with tools that can be used at home to reduce stress and build psychological flexibility.
