I usually work with teens, adults, and elders on various topics. I provide private pay telehealth services only at this time. I have training in Attachment Theory and trauma healing. I am EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) certified and an EMDR consultant-in-training. I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I have training in Somatic Abolitionism with Resmaa Menakem. Additionally, I am certified by the Center for Credentialing and Education as telehealth provider.
I truly believe we have the capacity to heal. I often use an analogy to talk about counseling/therapy. We need a brace or splint to help us with a broken bone. Similarly, therapy can be a support to help us and guide our healing/journey. I work with people on their journey toward greater mental fitness and healing.
