I am on leave thru April 2024. You want to break generational cycles and set a new path for yourself. Your loved one is lost in addiction or suffering acute mental illness and you need a little support. You've experienced a loss and want to make sense of life without this person. You want to do your best in life but need to learn to do it without experiencing total burnout. You want to live the values you claim and be a little more consistent and authentic in how you live. We can work together to help you connect the dots in your life to show where your responses come from, and how to adapt them to live life how you really want to.
Together we can work on: Managing difficult relationships, stress and anxiety. Emotional resilience. Identifying and utilizing strengths. Realistic self-care. Authenticity, integrity and increased meaning in life. Coping with loss, including non-death losses. I practice EMDR to treat trauma response and limiting beliefs.
My approach to counseling starts with our relationship. I seek to understand YOU from a holistic and lifespan perspective. Given this understanding, we will develop your primary goals or intentions for therapy and begin interventions to reach those goals. And if you don't have "goals", but just need someone who understands? I am that person.
