Welcome to Positive Mind Counseling! I'm Angie and I am glad you found me. I am excited to start this journey with you. First thing, Positive Mind Counseling is a virtual private practice working with clients residing anywhere in California. I enjoy helping everyone, but my specialties include working with those struggling with relationship issues, PTSD, postpartum depression, parenting, depression, anger and anxiety. My background includes working in forensic mental health in the county jail which has equipped me to understand and treat complex diagnoses like PTSD, Major Depressive Disorder, anxiety, anger and other adjustment disorders. I enjoy working with formerly incarcerated clients and teach skills that assist with reducing PTSD, anger, anxiety/depression.
Positive Mind Counseling is intentional in assisting clients with meeting their goals and encouraging new behaviors that instill positive lasting change. We work together to uncover the roadblocks that are preventing the client from making changes in their life. We walk alongside each individual and support them while remaining honest, direct and authentic.
