While navigating life’s challenges, it's important to work with someone who is empathetic, relatable, and knowledgeable. I am specialized in working with complicated life experiences, including: Faith Transitions and Religious Trauma, Relationship and Marriage Issues, Healthy Divorce and Separation, Grief Counseling, Women’s Issues, Healthy Parenting, Substance Abuse and Addictions, Sexuality, Childhood Trauma, and myriad Mental Health Issues. In addition, I am also a Certified Gottman Method Therapist (CGT), and am very passionate about strengthening both marriages and relationships.
Amy graduated with her Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Utah Valley University with Highest Honors. She's continued on her path to become a clinical therapist and mental health counselor who is relatable, professional, and compassionate in care. She is specialized and trained in: EFT, IFS, Somatic Therapy, and is trauma-informed.
Having healthily navigated a faith transition and divorce herself, Amy seeks to provide empathetic comfort and nonjudgmental support to others who are figuring out what works for their own best interests. Her goal as a counselor is not to make decisions for you, but to foster a safe space to compassionately explore options and support you in your decisions.
