Starting therapy can be intimidating and a little scary. But the fact that you’re even starting is an accomplishment! Trauma can distort our views of the world and even ourselves. However, with perseverance and guidance we can learn to overcome its negative effects. All you need in therapy is motivation, resilience, and someone to believe in you. As a trauma specialist, I strive to be that someone.
I specialize specifically in working with PTSD, C-PTSD and trauma of all forms. I am knowledgable in a variety of modalities of therapy, primarily utilizing methods of trauma focused CBT. I also provide equine-facilitated psychotherapy at our secondary location.
