As a counselor, I believe that no person is beyond helping, regardless of prior therapy experience, life history, or their current situation. I provide a safe and welcoming environment in which people are able to talk without fear of judgment, and can feel heard and validated. I believe in treating the roots of the issues, rather than providing Band-Aids for symptoms, and am passionate about empowering individuals to recognize their own strengths and abilities. I provide therapy from an interpersonal perspective, in which I believe relationship is the catalyst for healing.

I am a certified eating disorder specialist, and have special interest working with eating disorders, body image, self-harm, bereavement, women's issues, healthcare professionals, and trauma. My background also includes extensive trauma training, and certification in EMDR, an evidence based trauma treatment.
