I work from a holistic, trauma-informed lens and offer a unique combo of talk and somatic therapy. A deeper level of healing can be achieved when we tap into the innate wisdom of the body to cultivate body-mind integration. My somatic approach is informed by yoga therapy, Polyvagal Theory, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. Together we get to know and befriend the nervous system and build new pathways toward connection and safety. My therapeutic yoga offerings support every-body. Clients are empowered to reclaim a greater sense of choice and respect for their bodies as they develop their resiliency.
My approach is informed by Attachment Theory, IFS, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, with a focus and mindfulness. I also offer EMDR to support the adaptive integration of challenging memories. I am passionate about supporting folks struggling with addiction. Together we look past stigma and shame to address the whole person with compassionate inquiry.
The intention of my work is to facilitate a safe, supportive, and interactive space in which you can access your inner source of strength and bring about positive change in your life. We achieve this by learning to trust our inner compass which enables us to regulate and establish healthy patterns, moving toward embodying a value-driven, meaningful life.
