I work with individuals, couples, and families with attachment concerns and complex Trauma histories using EMDR, IFS, and Polyvagal Theory. I am sex-positive and welcoming to LGBTQIA+ clients. I feel confident working with individuals who, are or already have, deconstructed their faith/religion. When I meet with you, you can expect to have a conversation - one where you are heard, empathized with, and challenged. The therapeutic relationship is just that, a relationship. I will spend time getting to know you and helping you determine exactly what your goals are for this service before diving in.

I received my undergraduate in Psychology and my master's in Clinical Mental Health. I spent the better part of the last decade focusing entirely on trauma and attachment. I bring an awareness of trauma from personal experience that cannot be taught. I've walked my own path toward healing and I will walk alongside you as you do the same.

I realize a great deal of you are bravely stepping back into therapy after having awful experiences where you felt invalidated, silenced, or unheard. My goal is to bring wellness to our therapeutic relationship. You, like everyone, deserve a healthy, empathetic therapist who can hold space for your feelings, your experiences, and your goals. Circle of Security Parenting Class

Circle of Security Parenting Class is an 8-week group class that allows parents to learn about how their children show and express their needs + how parents can respond most positively. By the end of the class, parents will feel empowered, educated, and prepared to tackle the difficulties of developing a secure attachment with their child/ren. This class is based on modern attachment research and will be facilitated by Alexzis Vazquez, MA, LPCC, Registered Circle of Security Parenting Facilitator. * This class will begin in March 2024. This provider accepts Medicaid.

This group is tailored for adults with children and teens but is open to all adults who want to explore the definitions of sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and sex. This group will offer opportunities to explore how your own beliefs and values about sex have impacted you throughout life and how the conversations around sex, or lack thereof, changed your perceptions. We will discuss when to talk to kids about sexuality, gender, consent, basic anatomy related to sex, shame, and the difference between consent and an enthusiastic yes. This group will start in early 2024.
