I want to help you have a happier life. People usually come to therapy w/ a problem that they are unable to solve on their own. I respect the work you have already done to try to get unstuck. What I offer is the possibility for new & imaginative ways of thinking about your dilemmas & a positive & supportive place to try out different ways of being in the world. With respect for your past, the work in our therapy is focused on the present and a "where do we go from here" perspective.
My practice includes individuals, couples & families with a full range of issues. I have worked intensely with addictions and eating disorders as well as 10 years with perpetrators and survivors of domestic violence. I have a private practice in BH & formerly ran groups at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in both the Partial & Intensive Outpatient Programs.
I have had the good fortune to have been trained by some of the brightest and most forward thinking people in the world of psychology today. I love the fact that there is more information and knowledge being discovered and shared daily.
