Welcome! I am a Licensed Psychologist specializing in child, adolescent, & adult psychotherapy. I realize that beginning psychotherapy can be challenging but I am committed to providing you with a safe, empathic, and collaborative therapeutic environment to tackle the difficulties present in your life. My work is strength based, focusing on empowering youths and adults and helping them better understand themselves and develop healthy ways of coping with life's challenges. I was recently appointed by the Governor as a Board Member of the NV Board of Psychological Examiners and am committed to ethically sound clinical work and supervision for my interns/residents. She is also is the author of the wonderful children's book 'The Adventures of Smoosi' which is available on Amazon and at our office for purchase for only $9.99.
I believe that mental health awareness is important for all ages. I am committed to working collaboratively with you or your family. I do offer non-verbal treatment for children as young as one. We can work together to find the path or therapy technique that corresponds with you. My office hours are Monday through Friday, 10 am to 6pm.

8 week group for children 3 to 5 yrs of age. Mindful Me is an early intervention grp for children struggling with behavior difficulties/adjusting to a new environment. The group will utilize core concepts from play therapy and mindfulness based practices. The goal of this group is to develop coping, relaxation, and mindfulness based skills, and to increase children's ability to regulate emotions appropriately and relate to their peers in a positive way. Parents will be given grp schedule as well! Start date: Spring 2020. Session rate is $35/ group. Please call to be placed on wait list.

DBT Skills Power Group

This group will be based on techniques and aspects of DBT skill building to provide integrative care for teens ages 14 through 18. Group therapy will include mindfulness based practices, skills training, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness which includes communication skill building. This is an 8 week group for children 6 to 8 years old. Peaceful Me is an early intervention group for children struggling with behavior difficulties, inattentiveness, defiant, or aggressive/Impulsive behavior. The group will unitize core concepts from play therapy, mindfulness based practices, and behavior modification. The goal of this group is to develop coping, relaxation, and mindfulness based skills and increase children's ability to regulate emotions appropriately and relate to their peers/adults in a positive way.
