Peaceful Me
This is an 8 week group for children 6 to 8 years old. Peaceful Me is an early intervention group for children struggling with behavior difficulties, inattentiveness, defiant, or aggressive/Impulsive behavior. The group will unitize core concepts from play therapy, mindfulness based practices, and behavior modification. The goal of this group is to develop coping, relaxation, and mindfulness based skills and increase children's ability to regulate emotions appropriately and relate to their peers/adults in a positive way. Mindful Me

The group will utilize core concepts from play therapy and mindfulness based practices. The goal of this group is to develop coping, relaxation, and mindfulness based skills, and to increase children's ability to regulate emotions appropriately and relate to their peers in a positive way. Parents will be given grp schedule as well! Session rate is $45/ group. Please call to be placed on wait list.

This group will be based on techniques and aspects of DBT skill building to provide integrative care for teens ages 14 through 18. Group therapy will include mindfulness based practices, skills training, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness which includes communication skill building.
