I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York and Florida. My aim is to increase the individual's sense of his or her own wellbeing. I employ a range of techniques in my practice based on dialogue, communication and behavior change that are designed to improve the mental health of a client. I received training as an Anger Management Specialist- II and also received advanced training in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy and in grief counseling. I specialize in treating anxiety, mild depression, anger management, parenting issues, stress management, and grief.
My style is collaborative and goal-oriented and my approach is active-directive and empirically based psychotherapy.
I use rational emotive behavior therapy, a type of cognitive behavior therapy, to focus on helping the client change irrational and negative beliefs and to help clients attain growth they are looking for.

I offer anger management service to those who are either mandated by the court to fulfill a class, as well as to those who would like to work through their anger issues. This course will teach you anger and stress management skills, how to replace inappropriate and unacceptable behavior, problem-solving, conflict management and empathy skills. Sessions are for 16 weeks. Approved by the National Anger Management Association for court purposes. Tuition includes workbook, letters of enrollment, and certificate of completion for individuals required to attend and who complete all sessions. Please call for more information.
