In addition to our comfortable talk therapy rooms, our facility includes a large play therapy room for children and activity room for preteens. PreTeen DBT (12-14) & Teen DBT (15-18)

DBT is a skill focused group, in which teens develop and implement skills to manage their complex emotions, stop impulsive behaviors (such as self-harm or suicide attempts), and change negative thinking patterns, while increasing interpersonal effectiveness. Our DBT informed counselors work to create a validating and motivating environment, in which teens are provided experiential activities that are of interest to them. Two groups are offered to ensure developmental compatibility. Parents are provided educational information on DBT skills, to further enhance teens DBT skill application.
