I tailor each treatment plan and session to my client's goals and strengths in order to increase emotion regulation, manage ineffective thoughts, and increase distress tolerance. My goal is for clients to develop and implement coping skills, improve interpersonal effectiveness and create a life worth living. I believe that unconditional positive support, honesty, and a little humor are crucial to success in therapy.
I provide evidence based cognitive behavioral therapy/dialectical behavior therapy, helping clients become aware of ineffective thoughts in order to view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in more effective ways. I strive to be creative in finding age-appropriate ways of teaching and practicing new skills with clients.

Adolescent Group Therapy
Our psychoeducational group helps teens develop new skills as they share information and gain knowledge about a particular topic or issue. The adolescent therapy skills group is a hybrid cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral therapy informed evidence based treatment for adolescents who are struggling with emotion dysregulation, identify confusion, intense anxiety, depression, anger, difficulty in interpersonal relationships, impulsive behaviors, and teen-parent family conflict.
