As a therapist, I believe first and foremost in the healing and growth that can happen in relationship. My therapeutic approach is about meeting people where they are, and engaging each individual in a healing dialogue that is appropriate and specific to his or her life. I am a process oriented therapist. This means that I am primarily interested in understanding the process through which my clients respond to the world and how they make meaning out of their experiences. My goal is to facilitate increased awareness in my clients and improve agency, choice, and connection in their lives.
I work with primarily with couples and adult individuals. While my clinical orientation is primarily informed by Gestalt and EFT principles, I utilize an eclectic variety of methods in my practice including Cognitive Behavioral, Family Systems, Dialectical Behavioral techniques and Mindfulness, Experiential-based focusing, and Gottman therapy methods.
I currently see via telehealth in Washington state and in-person in Bellingham and Lynden, WA. I work with deep compassion and it is my honor to work with people in their most vulnerable spaces. Contact me today to discuss the possibility of working together. LGBTQA+ welcome
