I am a registered psychologist who specializes in chronic pain, health concerns, OCD, anxiety and trauma. I believe in the importance of living authentically in the face of challenges, and finding ways to cope with life's hardships. My goal in therapy is to help you cope with difficult thoughts and feelings so you can focus on doing the things you love and being the person you value and want to be. I work collaboratively with you, and provide a judgment free environment to work through your concerns. I am an experiential therapist, meaning we try interventions and activities in session to create change in your life.
I am committed to helping my clients as best as I can, which is why I have studied and trained under a number of world-renowned clinicians to enhance my skills. I am currently taking a graduate certificate in pain management, and am trained in EMDR, ACT, CPT, SFT and am passionate about supporting health, wellness and psychological flexibility.
I also have training in hypnotherapy, primarily to treat concerns such as depression, anxiety, phobias, chronic pain, worry/stress and self-esteem concerns. I like to be creative in my work with clients to find a therapy that works. I like to include humor, and am often told I'm down to earth and straightforward in my work with clients.
