People often go to counselling when their own strategies are no longer working for them. I believe it's important to understand the root causes of certain thoughts and behaviours to develop the appropriate support. Such behaviours may include self-harm and aggression, which may mask underlying issues that I am hoping to uncover and help clients cope with.

I believe that having a better understanding of ourselves can lead to a more fulfilling life. I hope to support you in accessing your inner strengths, wisdom, and compassion. I work collaboratively with clients using an eclectic approach tailored to the client's needs with an emphasis on collaboration, respect, openness and acceptance.

Having a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship is the foundation of all productive therapy. I have work experience in a variety of settings such as: a community counselling centre, an in-patient youth treatment centre, a day-treatment program for youth & a large EAP company.
