Life can be really hard sometimes, for lots of different reasons and sometimes what makes it feel even harder, is feeling like we are alone in it. This can make us feel confused, hurt, angry, anxious, depressed, isolated, overwhelmed and stressed out. But just because life is hard, doesn’t mean we are doing it wrong! I work with many young adults (age 19-40) who are looking for a safe place to process emotions, explore new ways of being in the world, and let your defenses down, while being seen, understood, and fully accepted. Having support can make us feel less alone and can help life become more manageable.
I help clients who are looking for support with issues that get in the way of them living a life they are excited about. I am very relationally oriented, and in the context of our therapeutic relationship, my hope is that you will be able to recognize your strengths, and use them to help you move towards the goals and the life you imagine for yourself.
You are deserving of care and support as you navigate the things in your life that are causing you distress or pain. I am able to hold space for all the heavy emotions, and yet I also am light-hearted and enjoy sharing laughter and celebration with my clients. Let me pour you a cup of tea or coffee, and let's talk. You do not have to go through this alone.
