Therapy with me offers a place where you feel heard and understood. My training and approaches focus on you, working on the issues you want to focus on, using tools that are useful within and outside the therapy room. Reaching out for support takes courage; you need to feel supported and met with compassion. I work to empower you through genuine understanding and connection. I will be your support during vulnerable times and help you find the courage you already have.
I acknowledge you as the expert in your own life. Most often, a person needs someone to walk with them to combat the overwhelm and "untangle the knots" during challenging times. Ultimately, growth requires patience, and change requires courage and vulnerability. My approach focuses on self-compassion and awareness to build a strong sense of self.
Outside of work, I spend my time chasing around my three (busy) children with my husband in our home full of pets and plants.
