Looking for support? Therapy offers an opportunity to express yourself, explore patterns of feeling and behaviour, navigate challenges and legacies of trauma, as well as try different ways of being and relating. I integrate Gestalt, Somatic Experiencing, and Parts Work in a practice that is experiential, embodied, and relational. I am drawn to approaches that embrace an egalitarian relationship between client and therapist, take a non-pathologizing approach to mental health, and invite creativity. I emphasize the development of self and body awareness as a way to increase choice, flexibility, acceptance, and ultimately wellbeing.
My lens is trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, 2SLGBTQ-affirming, sex-positive, kink-aware and welcoming of varied relationship configurations. I am committed to ongoing engagement with intersectional feminism and harm reduction principles. I understand systemic inequality, minority stress, and resilience.
