Do you sometimes sit in meetings afraid that everyone can see that you’re a fraud? You sweat profusely at the thought of approaching others? Perhaps you’re trying to make sense of your identity after major changes or transitions? Life doesn’t come with a user manual. Sometimes it can feel overwhelming or confusing to make sense of the anxiety and stress that overtake our mind. Major changes that happen to us, including immigration, job loss, parenthood, unanticipated caregiving or losing a loved one can sometimes lead us to feel lost or stuck in place.
I work collaboratively with clients navigating some of these struggles through a psychodynamic psychotherapy lens. Using this type of therapy, we can explore a multitude of modalities giving you a variety of ways to explore life's changes. A few of the tools we might try include analysis, dream work, and talk therapy.
