Living the Life - Let go of Anxiety and Depression
This is an ongoing skills training group that meets on Saturday mornings and is open to those with anxiety, depressive mood disorders and other disorders. Members make an 8-week commitment and new members may join after assessment. Treatment modalities combine Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and some Dialectical Behavioral (DBT) techniques with relaxation and anxiety-reducing techniques, as well as dealing with fearful or automatic negative thoughts, interpersonal effectiveness, mindfulness, and emotional regulation skills.
