I am not able to accept new clients at this time. As a social worker in private practice for the past forty years and graduate of the Smith School of Social Work, I am currently practicing in Narragansett. I treat a wide range of individuals and couples from adolescence to elderly who present with a variety of issues, among them *eating disorders and wellness issues *depression and anxiety *sexual abuse and trauma *bereavement and divorce."
My main modalities of treatment are therapeutic writing, psychodynamic and eclectic psychotherapies, psycho-education, and EMDR. Some of the insurance companies with which I currently participate are Blue Cross (including Blue Chip), United, URI, Coventry Health,Tufts and Consolidated Health.
I believe that the answers to questions that people wrestle with who come to me reside already inside them. My job as a therapist is to assist people in discovering those answers by helping them resolve conflicts that get in their way.

Writing to Heal Discover with us the ways creative journaling can uncover sources of your own ability to heal yourself. The techniques presented will surprise and delight you, allowing a greater connection with your best self. The group is ongoing, and new members are welcome, currently in an on-line platform. Time: Mondays, 5:30pm-7:00pm Fee: Most insurances accepted. A fee of $25.00 will be charged for those without insurance.
