I use a comprehensive approach to balance mind and body, encompassing holistic & traditional therapies. I have 30 years of experience. In 1993 I began studying the mind-body connection while working with cancer patients. My work in this area took on greater importance after I suddenly became ill & went into cardiac arrest. Doctors at a prestigious university hospital were baffled. Married with two children, working & having just finished graduate school, unaware how stressed I was, my body showed me.
This led to an interest in how to prevent and resolve the problems that occur in the body/mind when people are under stress. Anxiety, panic, depression and illness can be caused by current stresses and past trauma. My expertise is returning the mind to a calm, focused, balanced state.

Calm Your Anxious Mind (currently not in session)
Group is not having sessions, all materials covered in individual sessions. This group combines mindfulness meditation, hypnotherapy, relaxation training & other meditative techniques to alleviate stress, anxiety, fear & panic. Through dialog and meditations, participants will get a better understanding of anxiety, fear and panic, and as we explore these states, learn to recognize they do not define us, they come and go like all other states of mind. Additionally, behavioral techniques are taught to show participants how to quickly turn off the body's fight/flight response and return the mind and body to calm.
