Through techniques like ART(Accelerated Resolution therapy), Brainspotting, mindfulness, dialectical and cognitive behavioral approaches, you can learn how to accept your life and start living in the present not the past. You will gain insight into long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
Creating safety is vital, learning to find and cultivate that within yourself and your life is essential to a healthy life. Our work together will be focused on creating a safe place for your exploration of emotions and current stresses, improving you tolerance level, and overall outlook on life. Working through trauma does not have to feel retraumatizing.

This 8 session Mindful Self Compassion group is for anyone who wants to learn how to love, accept and forgive themselves and others leading to improved emotional wellbeing. Self-compassion is strongly associated with psychological well-being [Neff, 2009]. Higher levels of self-compassion are linked to increased feelings of happiness, optimism, curiosity and connectedness, as well as decreased anxiety, depression, rumination and fear of failure. Each session will include a lesson and practice. The cost is $50 per session (or $350 if paid in full at or before the first group). This program consists of 8 60 minute sessions.
