Nexus is a purpose-driven organization offering an individualized approach to treatment for adolescents struggling with substance abuse and mental health concerns. We create a safe space for our clients to reflect, heal, and powerfully choose to redirect the trajectories of their lives by fostering trust, integrity, and limitless possibilities. We empower our clients to hone a clear vision for their lives to build life-long results for themselves and their families. We use the following evidence based approaches in individual and group therapy: Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Interpersonal, Narrative, Mindfulness, Functional Family Therapy (FFT), Trauma Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Psychodrama/Gestalt
Trauma Informed, Family Focused
Our Individualized teen mental health treatment program at Nexus is created to address each challenge individually, providing personalized care for your teenager’s long-term wellness. Whether your teen is grappling with, trauma, anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, or other significant issues, our exceptionally skilled clinical experts are here to create a tailored treatment plan rooted in your teenager’s unique journey. We recognize that family plays an integral role in teens mental health treatment, which is why guardian participation is a requirement in every Nexus Teen Academy treatment plan. We offer a weekly Family Empowerment Group for parents to develop new social/emotional skills alongside weekly visitation. We also provide family therapy sessions, led by licensed therapists, which creates a safe space for guardians and their teens to address child/parent relational issues.
