Adolescent Mental Health and Eating Disorder
Alternative Options adolescent mental health and eating disorder groups are part of our Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization programming. We offer a safe and supportive environment designed to meet the specific and unique needs of adolescents struggling with issues related to mental health and eating disorders. Our groups incorporate evidence-based therapeutic approaches, as well as psychoeducation, art, music, and other experiential modalities. The eating disorder groups specifically address issues related to eating disorders and incorporate supported meals led by therapists and dietitians specializing in eating disorders. Family involvement is also an integral aspect of our adolescent treatment, which includes parenting and multi-family groups.

Substance Abuse
Our substance abuse focused groups are part of our Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization programming. These groups treat the abuse of, and addiction to, many different drugs, including benzodiazepines, opiates, prescription medications, alcohol, marijuana, cocaine, amphetamines, hallucinogens, inhalants, and others. We utilize a cognitive-behavioral approach to recovery, along with an introduction to a 12-step model and other evidence-based treatments. Our team of experienced professionals and certified drug and alcohol counselors will assist individuals and families in gaining insight into mental, emotional, social, and spiritual aspects of both mental health and addictive behaviors.
