Hello there! I’m Whitney and I’m the founder of Brave Haven Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist-Consultant, and am EMDR Trained. I am so glad you have taken some of your valuable time to find a therapist. It is such a courageous endeavor to ask for help and I am here to help you along your journey. My clinical experience has allowed me to work with people of all ages, races, genders, socioeconomic statuses, body sizes, and sexual orientations at all levels of care. Through this work I have gained immense compassion and love for the human experience.
My specialities include eating disorders, anxiety, depression, addiction, body image, relationship issues, infidelity, chronic pain, neurodivergence, women's issues, leadership, personal growth, and the enneagram. My experience working with eating disorders encompasses all levels of care & professional roles ranging from Therapist to Regional Director.
I am also a wife. Mother of 4 wonderfully energetic children. Enneagram 1. And lover of plants, nutella, thrift stores, & collecting books. My favorite part of being a therapist is helping clients to see that they are powerful beings capable of love, belonging, and connection.
