I believe in meeting the diverse needs of each individual. I pride myself on being a warm, approachable and nonjudgmental therapist in order to promote a safe and supportive therapeutic space. I believe authenticity in therapy is important for me and for you in order to build a strong therapeutic alliance. I believe empathy and compassion are fundamental in therapy while I support you and your transformation in therapy. I aim to promote self-awareness in creative and unique ways in session while you explore your life experiences and challenges in session.
I'm passionate about helping people in relationships learn to better communicate, connect, and compromise. I’ve worked with partners, teens and adults in a variety of community mental health settings, and have specialized training and experience with LGBTQ+ couples and individuals.
My treatment approach, while being integrative, draws from the following orientations: humanistic, mindfulness, expressive arts, psychodynamic, play therapy, cognitive-behavioral, and narrative. I have experience and have been trained in the Gottman Method for couples and am Level 2 certified while currently working on my Level 3 certification.
