DBT Skills Group for Adults and Teens
Great Lakes Therapy Center currently has seven DBT Skills groups. The program is designed for clients who would like to develop healthy habits and enhance their psychological and emotional stability. It is designed to encourage healing and acceptance, build insight, improve relationships, and prevent relapse. The skills taught in this class include mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness.

This group is for adult individuals who have graduated from a comprehensive DBT skills group and are looking for additional support. The function of the group is to provide ongoing accountability for adults who are interested in improving their ability to apply and practice DBT skills.

Skillfully Sober Group
Based on Dialectical Behavior Therapy for Substance Use Disorders (DBT-SUDs), this group offers a combination of DBT skill-building and process work to help participants make and sustain the changes needed to get and stay clean/sober. This group is open to adults who struggle with addiction and would like to build skills to sustain and enhance their recovery. BCBS PPO, Blue Choice PPO are accepted. Out of pocket rates are also available.
