Many arrive at therapy for a variety of reasons. As a clinician who specializes in establishing a supportive space for individuals to feel seen, heard, and acknowledged within the therapeutic relationship, I utilize my lived experience that developmentally impacted how I viewed the world as a young adult myself. Growing up within a tight-knit culture that (at times) limited my abilities to find my voice and step into my power in a way that felt most authentic to me, I excel at supporting individuals that are desiring to dismantle the roles they were given at a young age as they wrestle with learning who they want to be.
I provide a collaborative space where clients can learn to strengthen their relationship with themselves & critically examine narratives that may no longer be serving them. As a clinician who is also a mom, I have the ability to hold more than 1 perspective at the same time allowing space for clients to use their curiosity & explore their preferred selves.
Utilizing humor, compassion, and authenticity, therapy can become a collaborative journey of personal growth where meaningful conversations strengthen one's ability to foster a connection with self that allows them to be a more active participant in their life.
