If you are feeling anxious, unhappy, stuck, confused, struggling with complications in your relationships, or challenged by other problems interrupting your daily life, I would be honored to assist you in this process. As each human being and relationship is unique and special, I work with my clients according to their individual needs, qualities and struggles in a humanistic and interactive way. Working with my clients, I combine approaches that are rooted in gestalt, psychodynamic, mindfulness orientation and cognitive- behavioral theories.
My experience includes working with adults, children/teens and families with diverse population and issues. I have an extensive clinical background working with children/teens who have difficulties in school setting, behavior problems, mood issues (anxiety, depression) and adjustment difficulties. I help empower the parents/family to cope with the challenges.
I perceive the therapeutic relationship to be the key to successful therapy. My approach is to engage my clients in a warm, nonjudgmental, supportive, respectful and accepting style, where awareness and change can emerge. In addition to regular hours, I offer early morning, evening and weekend appointments for your convenience.
